Terms of Service

1. Who Can Play

You must be at least 13 years old to use DrawVersus. If local regulations set a higher age for consenting to online services, that age applies. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your Account

DrawVersus is designed to work without requiring an email or password: a guest account is created locally on your device the first time you play. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device.

When account linking with Apple or Google is enabled, linking preserves your existing account identifier and game history. Please maintain one account per person.

3. Your Content and Ownership

All drawings, guesses, display names, and reactions you create in DrawVersus remain your property.

You grant DrawVersus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service: showing your drawing to your rival, replaying strokes in your shared history, and displaying it to anyone opening a challenge link you have shared. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except where retention is required for moderation review or legal compliance.

4. Rules of Conduct

DrawVersus is a private game between people who have chosen to play together. To keep the community safe, you agree not to:

• Create or share content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or harassing.
• Use the Service to bully, stalk, or intimidate any person.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or interact through automated scripts.
• Infringe upon intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

Every player can report objectionable content and unilaterally block a rival. Blocking freezes the game both ways immediately. We review reports and reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Challenge Links

Sharing a challenge link (drawversus.com/c/…) allows anyone holding that link to view that specific drawing and submit guesses in a web browser. Treat challenge links like personal invitations. Unclaimed challenge links expire after 30 days.

6. The Game Experience

Scores, streaks, word pools, and gameplay mechanics may evolve as we improve DrawVersus. We may introduce, adjust, or retire features at any time. DrawVersus is free to play and does not show third-party ads.

7. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the app settings (see our Privacy Policy and Account Deletion Guide). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the safety of players.

8. Disclaimers

DrawVersus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work continuously to keep all drawings safe and reliable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DrawVersus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US $50 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.

10. App Store Terms

If you download DrawVersus from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, their respective terms apply to your download. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the Service or its contents.

11. Updates to These Terms

If material modifications are made to these terms, we will update the effective date above and provide notice in the application before changes take effect. Continuing to play following notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in courts located in California, unless local consumer protection law grants you the right to proceed in your jurisdiction.
